trade alert sound
Hi,
There's a way to change the build in sound for trade fills? I tried a sound.wav in the config directory but this doesn't work and I can't find the original sound file
Thanks
Mario

Re: trade alert sound
Hi mpxtreme,
Customizing built-in sounds is on our backlog.
You can change the /resources/sounds/bicycle_bell.wav file in the Bookmap.jar with any suitable wave file named bicycle_bell.wav
To do that copy your customized bicycle_bell.wav file, change Bookmap.jar extension from .jar to .zip, open it with a file manager and paste the file into the /resources/sounds folder. Rename Bookmap.zip back to .jar
You need to do it any time you update/reinstall Bookmap.
Edited: Bookmap.jar is in your Program Files/Bookmap folder (for Windows) or similar for other OS.

I have to go through all these acrobatics to change the sound ? Why is this not fixed yet? This feature was asked for back in August.

Re: trade alert sound
Jason11,
We receive a lot of feature requests both via forum and support. The first in line to be fixed are always most critical ones or those which have many requests. You may want to encourage other traders to request this feature to be implemented to increase its priority. My solution was a just a temporary workaround for you to get what you need asap.
