new uesr: volume, vwap, orders
Hi
Just got bookmap and slowly discovering its feature but theres a few things i'm curious about:
1) is it possible to have the volume bars separate from the heatmap? hard to see with all the colours
2) is it possible to scroll vertically instead of scaling?
3) VWAP seems different from the one of tradingView. does my data need to be complete from the 5pm (thats when TradingView resets)?
4)occasionally my rithmic feed drops off, is there a way to refresh the missing patches without re-subscribing.
5) i read we could download up to 48hr of data but can only see 1hr data via the cloud. can we download the 48hrs for ES? i have rithmic feed if that makes a difference
6) i read we use the middle botton to cancel an order, is this in reference to the scroll wheel? because that doesnt work for me.
thanks

Hi,
Please see the answers below:
1. is it possible to have the volume bars separate from the heatmap? hard to see with all the colours
-> You can go to visible components and turn off 'Heatmap'. You can't move bars to other window.
You can change the collor settings here - https://www.bookmap.com/knowledgebase/d ... r-settings
Also you can use the the visible components and turn off the information that you don't need.
Please review this article - https://www.bookmap.com/knowledgebase/d ... components
2. is it possible to scroll vertically instead of scaling?
-> You can drag with CTRL pressed or if you are in None mode then just drag on the chart.
3. VWAP seems different from the one of tradingView. does my data need to be complete from the 5pm (thats when TradingView resets)?
-> VWAP automatically resets at the Session start time. Reset can also be done by right-clicking on the VWAP line and selecting Reset here.
4. occasionally my rithmic feed drops off, is there a way to refresh the missing patches without re-subscribing.
-> You need to resubscribe in this case.
5. i read we could download up to 48hr of data but can only see 1hr data via the cloud. can we download the 48hrs for ES? i have rithmic feed if that makes a difference
-> Rithmic doesn't support the historical data from cloud in Bookmap - 1 hour is provided by DxFeeed and 24 local data hours are available by default.
You can subscribe to the CME historical data from DxFeed to get up 24 hours of cloud data for $14 monthly.
In this case, both local and cloud data could be extended to 96 hours, we'll need to reset it every moth allthogh.
For further details please review this article: https://www.bookmap.com/knowledgebase/d ... kfill-data
6. i read we use the middle botton to cancel an order, is this in reference to the scroll wheel? because that doesnt work for me.
-> You need to place the mouse pointer over the relevant price level and click the middle mouse button. Yes, it's the button in reference to the scroll wheel.
Also please review this article - https://www.bookmap.com/knowledgebase/d ... ardHotkeys

It was previously disabled when DOM is selected. Make sure you upgrade to the latest 7.1 where recenter = none is enabledand why is "recenter: none" unavailable to select sometimes ?

Which version do you have? (shown in "about" dialog). It's only a part of 7.1, not 7.0.
