Moving Average Package
Re: Moving Average Package
If you are using the version form the Marketplace, please change the numerical values as indicated on the user guide:
(Please do not forget to hit Enter if you change numerical fields)
If you use the version compatible with Bookmap 7.2+ from the post
https://bookmap.com/forum/viewtopic.php ... t=20#p5884
then it is not needed anymore

Re: Moving Average Package
The sample program for historical data worked very well for me. I would absolutely like to use it long term.
Re: Moving Average Package
Daniel, please feel free to use that version. In the marketplace I cannot manage multiple versions but I can offer it in the forum for download. So, just keep using that version.

Re: Moving Average Package
Hi, I was trying our your EMA's but seems I can not get them to match my 1min charts on my broker platform. So a 9EMA on my broker chart is completley different to your 9EMA on bookmap. I have tried from 1sec to 1min in your settings.
Am I missing something?
thanks

Dear @peteroberts,
There can be a slight difference due the way the close price is captured on the platform. In Bookmap only period is considered, it is not synced to the turn of the period (the 1 second period might start and and in the middle of the real time second). That could explain slight differences, but as you mentioned it looks completely different on your brokers platform. To figure out the why, I would need more information (platforms name, images, maybe data, if it cannot be clearly seen on the image). Please contact me on private chat and I can run the analysis.
