Re: Pre-beta version of Bookmap for MacOS

GAIN have FIX, I am not sure about S5 and I am not even sure if it has any specific S5 requirements. I just found suspicious, that there is an S5 specific Bookmap installation. GAIN and S5 are the same API, at least with .NET connector. The S5 installer is simply a white labeled version. In .NET ad...

Re: Pre-beta version of Bookmap for MacOS

Hi. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe they only provide a .NET connector, which would probably be a pain to run under MacOS - it can be done either by running another process under Wine and communicating with it or by trying to get it running with Mono (which, even if connector code will run, w...

Re: Rithmic connection issues

Hi. Which connection point are you selecting? Could you attach or send to support@bookmap.com your Rithmic log ("C:\Bookmap\Logs\rithmic-engine-log.000")

Re: Fixing the tool tip blockout of the Dom

Hi. The tooltip behavior is by design (shown for unlimited time to allow reading it comfortably), but we see how it can be annoying in some cases. We have added a new checkbox under Settings->Configuration called "Enable tooltips for buttons" (already in development branch, will be available in next...

Re: Bookmap lag

Hi everyone. Just wanted to provide an update. We are still working on the issue, here is how things look now: - We are testing US infrastructure that should speed up historical data download for US clients (and hopefully alleviate some latency issues too) - We keep working with DX to resolve the is...

Re: Dots / Bubbles moving out of price!

Thanks, I think I can reproduce it, even though not very reliably. It is probably related to "aggregation by price" clustering. You might want to switch to other mode until we fix that.

Re: Dots / Bubbles moving out of price!

Hi deckard, Please answer few questions to help us  pinpoint that: 1. what are your volume dots settings (screenshot would be good) 2. do all dots move or only the latest one (I assume all move) 3. which out of 3 happens: a. dots are stationary, but heatmap moves underneath (which results in dots en...

Re: Bookmap lag

Hi everyone. There seem to be 3 different problems here: - Historical data not downloading (timeout) - Consistent data lag (trades/depth/BBO delayed consistently) - Data desync (trades/depth/BBO desync) First two are typically network-related. It's not about your network specifically (but about it t...

Re: Rithmic demo connection

Hi,
Could you please provide more details:
- what exactly is the message you are seeing?
- could you attach (or, better, send to me or our support team directly, since it will contain your login) this file: C:\Bookmap\Logs\rithmic-engine-log.000
